What engines are available?

As usual, the Wrangler comes with several powerful engine options. The standard is a 3.6-liter V6 that pumps out 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The engine is available with an eTorque mild hybrid system, which improves fuel economy. Pairing with this engine is either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission. Optional is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that comes with 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque or a turbocharged 3.0-liter diesel V6 that rips out 260 horses and an astonishing 442 lb-ft of torque. Even more intriguing is that the Wrangler is coming out with a 4xe plug-in hybrid, which will arrive halfway through the model year. A 27-kWh hybrid battery pack is mounted underneath the rear seats. The engine is expected to produce 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.

What features are available?

Four trim levels and several sub-trims are available for the 2021 Jeep Wrangler. Starting with the base Sport, the Wrangler comes with 17-inch steel wheels, skid plates, tow hooks, foglights, and a 5-inch touchscreen. The Willy's Sport is an optional package, and it comes with black-painted wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, and all-weather floor mats. Stepping up to the Sport S gets you alloy wheels, air conditioning, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and tinted windows. Altitude versions of the Sport S come with black 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires and an upgraded off-road suspension. Sahara versions come with 18-inch wheels, a full-time four-wheel drive, automatic climate control, and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There are Altitude and High Altitude versions of the Sahara that get you a sport-tuned suspension, all-terrain tires, a 4G LTE Wi-fi hotspot, LED headlights, and keyless entry. If you want the most off-road ready Wrangler, its the Rubicon. It comes with 17-inch wheels with 33-inch off-road tires and more massive fender flares, heavy-duty  Dana 44 front and rear axles with a shorter 4.10 gear ratio, rock rails, and an electronic locking front and rear differentials.

What are some of the safety features?

Safety is paramount to Jeep, and so the Wrangler comes with a ton of fantastic safety features that keeps both you and your family safe while you traverse the road. Available is a Blind-Spot Monitoring System with Rear Cross Path Detection, which uses radar-based sensors to let you know when vehicles are traveling in your blind spot area or coming from behind you. Also available is a Forward Collision Warning System with Active Braking, which alerts you to a potential frontal collision and can even engage the brakes if you don't respond. The last system we are going to talk about is the Adaptive Cruise Control System with Stop and Go, which automatically adjusts your driving speed so that you maintain a pre-selected distance between the Wrangler and the traffic ahead.
