Kicking off the lineup of advanced safety technologies is adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go. This feature allows you to maintain a set speed like traditional cruise control while adapting to the traffic conditions by automatically adjusting vehicle speed without any driver input to maintain a safe following distance. Meanwhile, active lane management keeps you centered in your lane by warning you if you begin to sway and gently steering you back into your lane if corrective action isn't immediately taken. Additionally, blindspot monitoring will alert you to the presence of a vehicle in a lane beside you in your blind spots to ensure safe lane changes. The Grand Wagoneer's standard Active Driving Assist coordinates these features to provide semi-autonomous hands-on-wheel, eyes-on-road driving. Other standard safety features include a 360-degree surround-view camera system, parallel/perpendicular park assist, front/rear park assist, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian/cyclist detection, and more.

The most advanced optional safety feature that is optional for the 2025 Grand Wagoner is the Level 2+ autonomous driving technology, named Hands-Free Active Driving Assist. Instead of keeping your hands on the wheel, this feature coordinates the adaptive cruise control and active lane management features to maintain a safe speed and following distance while keeping you centered in your lane. To activate the Hands-Free Active Driving Assist button, you'll need to be on an approved roadway, which is detected by sensors and cameras, and have your seatbelt fastened. To activate ADA, press the button on the right side of the steering wheel that shows a steering wheel icon with two lane lines beside it. Once you do, the Grand Cherokee's digital gauge cluster will display an ADA image-a steering wheel between road lines with bold lines across it. This image will show up in white and turn green when ADA is fully activated. If adaptive cruise control is already set, your selected speed and following distance will stay the same. If it isn't active, ADA will start Adaptive Cruise Control automatically. To set your preferred speed, press the cruise control set button and adjust the following distance as needed. Each press of the distance button adds another line to the ADA display, showing your current following distance.

The 2025 Grand Wagoneer is also eligible for other safety features. The first of which is the available night-vision camera with pedestrian and animal detection. For late-night drives, this feature uses thermal imaging to spot obstacles, pedestrians, and animals in the dark and displays them on the digital cluster display. Meanwhile, the drowsy driver detection feature monitors your steering wheel movements. This detects drowsiness and microsleeping while driving using an advanced algorithm and will alert you and advise you to take a break. Furthermore, the available Intersection Collision Assist System helps keep you safe at four-way stops by detecting oncoming vehicles and applying the brakes if needed. Additionally, the Traffic Sign Recognition system uses cameras to notify you of upcoming road signs, keeping you aware of important information while driving.
