You're going to start your journey by heading east on Scenic Dr toward Franklin Rd. You're then going to take 13 Mile Rd and Beverly Rd to Woodward Ave in Royal Oak. About Franklin Michigan
Situated inside of both Southfield Township and Oakland County is the Village of Franklin. Did you know Franklin's downtown district was the first in all of Michigan to be designated a historic district? The historic downtown district also made it onto the National Register of Historic Places list in 1969. The village was first founded in the year 1825 and was named after Founding Father, Benjamin Franklin, in 1831. The village is known for the Franklin Cider Mill, which actually resides just outside of the village's borders in Bloomfield Township. The mill, which was originally built in 1837 as a gristmill, was converted to a cider mill in 1949.
